Fabio Biondi is one of the most outstanding performers of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the most famous violin concertos of the baroque period. There have been innumerable recordings made of these brilliant, strongly rhythmic works, full of sharp contrasts. The Four Seasons were already popular during the composer’s lifetime, and 250 years after his death they remain proof that Vivaldi is still an accomplished master of communication with his audience.
