Joventuts Musicals de Torroella de Montgrí is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 with the mission of promoting knowledge and the dissemination of music. We are part of a global network that includes the Federation of Musical Youth of Catalonia, the Confederation of Musical Youth of Spain, and Jeunesses Musicales International, founded in 1945 in Brussels and currently present in 61 countries.
With the ambition that has defined us since the beginning and the experience accumulated over nearly five decades, we work to create spaces for dialogue and interaction where internationally renowned performers, composers, thinkers, and emerging talent come together to enrich the cultural landscape with transformative ideas and visions. We are a community of over 500 members connecting artists, creators, and audiences with the goal of recovering and reinterpreting classical works, preserving and disseminating musical heritage, exploring innovative ways to convey it, fostering research and mentorship, and inspiring future generation an essential force for building a more connected and creative society that strengthens dialogue and diversity.
