Concert in memory of Ernest Lluch

About this event

This is the Acadèmia 1750’s second concert as Principal Guest Artist, and they will perform a programme consisting entirely of works by the Barcelona-born composer Ferran Sor, including symphonies and overtures. Sor was one of the greatest interests of our sadly missed friend Ernest Lluch, who collaborated actively with the Torroella Festival and discovered that the composer’s real name was Sor and not Sors, as had previously been thought. This concert is held in Lluch’s memory.
