Once upon a time, there was a seed. And inside it, there was nothing but silence. It slept for a long, long time but one day, it felt the need to grow. And so it broke its shell and something quite unexpected appeared from inside. Story of a seed is one of the most moving performances by the performing arts producer La Maquiné, a celebration of nature that reflects on how humans mistreat the environment. The music, the puppets and the projections form a whole that is charged with symbolism and tenderness, conveying values such as solidarity and care for the environment as essential qualities for the times we live in.
