KUKUNDÉ QUINTET

Kukundé Quintet is a jazz band created in January 2020 at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya to record the compositions of drummer Lluís Pérez-Villegas, which make up the bulk of their first album, Calcària, that they will present at the Torroella de Montgrí Fringe Festival. In December 2020, the Kukundé Quintet were awarded Second Prize at the Juventudes Musicales de España Competition in its Jazz category.
