J.S. Bach-F. Busoni: Prelude and Fugue in D major for organ, BWV 532, in transcription for piano / F. Liszt: Sonata in B minor, S.178

Eudald Buch received his musical training at the Escolania de Montserrat, the Conservatori de Vic and Chetham's School of Music in Manchester. He completed his piano studies at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with Elisso Virsaladze. He presents an ambitious programme at the Torroella de Montgrí Fringe Festival that includes Ferruccio Busoni's transcription for piano of Bach's Prelude and Fugue in D major for organ, BWV 532, and Liszt's Sonata in B minor, one of the great works for piano of the Romantic period.
