The Torroella de Montgrí Festival inaugurates its substitute programme this summer with a concert in tribute to the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert has been organised in support of the guests that have been specially invited, which include medical and advisory staff, firefighters and local organisations in Torroella. The programme is entirely made up of music by Beethoven, the 250th anniversary of whose birth we celebrate this year. The main work in the concert performed by the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès will be the famous Fifth Symphony, conducted by Xavier Puig, Principal Conductor of the orchestra.
