After the success of his debut album Nio (2022), which allowed him to perform over 70 concerts across Catalonia, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, and Italy, Momi Maiga presents a second studio album: Kairo (2024). Awarded Best Album of the Year by Enderrock’s Critics’ Choice Awards and recognised as an emerging talent at the 2024 Alicia Awards, Kairo cements this Senegalese artist as one of the most distinctive and powerful voices on the music scene. The title, meaning «peace» in Manding, reflects the essence of his music, characterised by a fusion of genres and cultures.
