About this event

The Ensemble DAI Contemporain was formed by six students from the Conservatoire National Supérieure de Musique et Danse de Paris who obtained the Diplôme d'artiste interprète (DAI) in contemporary music during an advanced course specialising in music composed after the Second World War, together with study of present-day compositions. Students on this course receive advanced technical training and musical tuition that enables them to approach performance of contemporary music from a variety of perspectives. They will demonstrate their talent at the Fringe Festival Torroella-l'Estartit with a programme of works from the 20th and 21st centuries.
