About this event

Viktoria Mullova, violin, and Katia Labèque, piano, are well known to audiences at the Torroella Festival. This year they come to us as a duet with a trend-breaking programme which will take us on a fascinating journey through two centuries of music. We will move from the classicism of Mozart to the spiritual world of Arvo Pärt, taking in the romanticism of Schumann, the symbolism of the Japanese composer Takemitsu and the jazz content of Ravel’s brilliant Sonata in G major.
