About this event

Two of the greatest new voices in the world of opera, the tenor of Samoan origin Pene Pati and the American mezzo-soprano J'Nai Bridges, will give the opening concert of the thirty-sixth Torroella de Montgrí Festival. They will sing a programme of some of the most famous operatic arias and duets. Pene Pati’s exceptional voice won him the Montserrat Caballé Singing Competiton in 2014 and second prize in the Operalia Competition of 2015. J'Nai Bridges, with her rich, silken tone, is the latest winner of the renowned Francesc Viñas Competition in Barcelona.
