About this event

The legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band was founded in 1961 and takes its name from one of the classic jazz venues of New Orleans, the true life and soul of Dixieland. The group is a living example of the past and present of traditional music in the great American city, a sound world in which jazz and blues come together. The band is led by Ben Jaffre, son of the founder, and the artists bridge several generations, with ages that range from 29 to 88 years old.
