Who wants to dance the Rite of Spring? Stravinsky’s famous ballet, whose first performance in 1913 provoked protests and a public scandal, received a noted staging in 1975 by choreographer Pina Bausch. Thirty-nine years later, the playwright and stage director, Roger Bernat, transforms his audience into the dancers of the ballet. They are provided with headphones to hear the music and receive the necessary instructions to be able to dance the choreography that Bausch created for Stravinsky’s masterwork.
