About this event

The Staats- und Domchor Berlin (Berlin Cathedral Choir), with its 500 years of musical history, is the oldest musical institution in the city. There is documentary evidence of the choir’s existence dating from 1465, and international fame began in the mid-19th century, with directors such as Felix Mendelssohn, Otto Nicolai and August Neidhardt. In Torroella the choir will perform a programme of choral music centred on the figure of J. S. Bach.
