LLUC CASARES SEPTET

After studying at the Higher School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC), the saxophonist and composer Lluc Casares (1990) went to New York to enrol on the Artist Diploma programme in the jazz department directed by Wynton Marsalis at the prestigious Juilliard School. In 2018, still in New York, he worked on creating a septet, which he materialized on his return to his native Barcelona with a group of musician friends. He writes original songs and arrangements of little-known melodies, such as those that we will hear in the concert.
