Founded in 2018 between Barcelona and Paris, the Trio Da Vinci stands out as one of the best emerging chamber ensembles in Catalonia. They received their musical training with members of some of the most emblematic chamber ensembles of recent decades (Rainer Schmidt and Clemens Hagen, from the Hagen Quartett; Bernard Greenhouse, from the Beaux Arts Trio; Heime Müller, from the Artemis Quartet; or Christophe Coin from the Quatuor Mosaïques, among others). In November 2018, they won second prize in 13th Montserrat Alavedra Chamber Music Awards, in Terrassa. Last March, they were awarded the first prize in the 14th Awards. After their performance last year at the Torroella Fringe Festival, the Trio Da Vinci now performs at the Torroella Festival.
