Since the legendary violinist Sandor Végh became director of the Camerata Salzburg in 1978, the group based in the town where Mozart was born has been noted for the special way in which they give clarity to the score, thanks to a high standard of performance that combines enthusiasm with virtuosity. The members of the group play with the passionate expression of soloists, but without neglecting the discipline required for the collective experience of chamber music.
