Locum Congregatio is a new ensemble of seven instrumentalists, which was founded to give performances in tribute to Beethoven during the 250th anniversary of the composer’s birth. The group is led by the violinist Josep Colomé and the clarinettist Víctor De La Rosa. They come to the Torroella Festival with two of Beethoven’s early works – his First Symphony in an arrangement for seven instruments and the Septet for winds and strings, one of the most famous septets in classical music.
